Joeye's visit with Nanny

I'm not sleepy Nanny, honest!!!!As you can see, Joeye had a wonderful visit with Nanny and Grandpa Derek. Hope we can do this again soon, and maybe, we will be lucky enough to have Kels and Cait sleep over too. Nanny would love to have a craft night with her girls.

Don't know if you know the entire story about JJ's homecoming, but, I will give you a short blurb and Monica can go into more details when she posts her pictures and video.
JJ came home for two weeks. He arrived on Easter Sunday. Monica didn't tell Kels and Cait cause she wanted it to be a surprise. So, with the help of Amy this is what happened.
Amy and Mitch pick the girls up from Monica's and takes them to Chapters to buy a book before coming to my place for an Easter egg hunt. Monica and Joeye goes to the airport to pick up JJ and they arrive here just minutes before Amy, Mitch, Kelsey and Cait. The girls knew that they were going to have an Easter egg hunt. So they have to find plastic eggs that have letters in it and they have to unscramble a secret message. It said "Secret message on computer". So they run downstairs to the family room and the computer screen says "Easter surprise in bedroom".
So, they run into the bedroom and find a big box and the rest of their Easter treats.
Kels and Cait knew that their mom had some kind of a surprise for them and they thought they were getting hamsters. Amy said they were so sure they were getting hamsters that they were naming them in the car on the way here.

Kelsey's first thoughts were, "Isn't this kind of big for a hamster", but she didn't say anything. We told them that they had to open their gift. If you look real close you can see the surprise on Caits face. The girls were so surprised. I am looking forward to seeing Monica's pics and video.

Results of my bloodwork
Ok, so the doctor sent me for bloodwork because I told him that I had gained a lot of weight in the past 3 months or so. Well, he told me that I was on the edge of having Type 2 diabeties and that if I didn't change my eating habit I would be injecting myself with insulin within the next 5 years. Then he tells me that I have a 20% chance of having a heart attack within the next 10 years. That was enough to make me realize that I have to do something or I am in big trouble. I will be seeing a dietician. The physician is sending me for more bloodwork in 4 weeks and he said that if things didn't improve, he will be putting me on medication. I will update once I see the dietician.

Do you recognize this home
As I have mentioned before, Dereks mother is an artist. She does watercolor and oil paintings. I asked her if she would do a painting for me of Grandparents home and she said she would be honored to paint the picture for me. So, what do you think. I took a couple of old pictures that I had and I gave her a description of what I could remember of the house, and this is what she came up with. Let me know what you think. I had the painting done for mom. I hope you like it mom.
