Another update
Thought I should post another update.
Hope all the mommy's had a wonderful Mother's Day. I know that I did. Spent the day doing some gardening and had a barbecue for supper. Monica and the girls came over for the barbecue and gave me some lovely gifts. I received a gorgeous vase of flowers, a very fancy wooden photo box with lots of pics to put in it, and a very pretty throw cushion. The girls have been giving me decorator throw cushions for the past couple of years and I love having them on my bed. I also got some lobsters compliments of my son. They were delicious. I also got gardening tools and rose bushes from Derek. And speaking of Derek, he is gone again this week. Last week he was all over Nova Scotia and this week he is in Saint John. I think I will visit with Monica and the girls for a couple of days. It is always fun to have sleeepovers with the girls.
I am still doing great on the diet. I find that I have been doing much better since I stopped taking the lyrica and ametriptylene. My back seems to be getting better. I am able to do some gardening for longer periods of time before the back pains begin. I still have to be careful and not lift anything heavy or do too much sewing at one time. So I just kind of pace myself when doing heavy chores. Not much more happening around here. Looking forward to my trip to BC in June and having family get together in August.
