It's Audit time again
I am finding it really hard to update as I have been so busy getting ready for our yearly Audit and doing up the Proposed Budget for 2006. I had the budget all completed and it was done the way that our Executive Director wanted it. And I must say it looked really good. But then our Treasurer decided that she wanted it done a different way, so, I had to redo it all over again. Oh well, it's done now. So I just have to wait for the Treasurer to go over it, make any necessary changes she thinks should be made, then there is the meeting on Thursday morning with the ED, the Treasurer, the Chairperson on the Board of Directors and myself. We go over the budget once more and if everyone agrees on the numbers, we bring it to the Board of Directors meeting to have it approved on Tuesday, January 30th. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
I did get to see Henry and his crew for a bit over the weekend but I really didn't get to spend as much time with them as I wanted. Just a really busy time of year for me.
Derek leaves for PEI on Wednesday morning and won't be back until Friday evening or maybe Saturday morning. Maybe I will go over and spend a night with Monica and the girls...I haven't told her this yet, but I don't think she will object. Maybe she can even talk Amy into going to a movie with her or something. I don't mind watching the girls for the evening. I will have to ask her if she wants a night out. On Sunday we celebrated Andrea and Jennifers birthdays. Derek's daughters Andreaand Jennifer both had birthdays over the past week. Andrea turned 16 on Wednesday and Jennifer is 20 today.
Kelsey is getting so tall. I didn't realize until this past weekend how much she is growing up. I told her to stop, but I don't think she will listen.
Joeye is starting to get around. She is able to go backwards no problem, but is just beginning to go forward. Caitlynn, well Caittie is just herself as always. She is so full of energy and is a carbon copy of her mother. I won't say more about the girls as Monica always has lots of fun stories to tell about them.
Found out this week that Derek is going to OHIO for a week at the end of February. Work related of course. I was thinking of going to visit mom and Brenda at the end of February once the Audit is complete. Then decided against it since we will be going to Vancouver Island in June, and Miramichi in August. But now I am starting to think about it again. Not sure what to do. I will have to look into it before making any final decisions. This is all for now. I will try and update once a week, but like I said, I am very busy this month.
