Tawse-Smith Family

So, Derek and I spent the night with Monica and the girls. They were calling for 20 cm of snow and I didn't want Monica to have to shovel. So, Derek pilled the snowblower in the company van and we had a sleepover with the girls. So, around 8pm Kelsey comes downstairs with her jammies on, inside out. A few minutes later, down comes Cait with her jammies inside out. Kels looks at me and says "Nan, you have to put your jammies on inside out", "How else do you expect us to have a snow day?" Apparently, putting your jammies on inside out helps the changes of having a snow day. Go figure. Well, I told them that Nanny was not putting her jammies on inside out, however, they did talk Derek into putting his t-shirt on inside out. Kels just looked at him and said, "You're cooler than nanny, You got your shirt on inside out! So, I had to go and put my jammie top on inside out. After all, I wanted a snow day too. Well, we got lots and had quite an eventful morning, but I am sure that Monica will tell you all about that in her post. Wish tomorrow was a snow day. Hey, maybe I will go and put my jammies on inside out...Can't hurt, or can it????

Well, the Proposed Budget for 2006 is finally done. YIPEE. Just need to have it approved at the Board of Directors meeting this evening. However, I will not be attending the meeting. So I guess the Acting ED will have to present it for me. I went in and had my second round of cortizone shots for my back on Friday. I am still sore this morning, but not too bad. However, my physician doubled the dosage of my medication and it has been making me sick to my stomach. I haven't eaten since Friday at lunch. Just the thought of food makes me sick. This is great for the diet, but, how long can I go without food.
Now that the budget is over, I have to finish getting paperwork ready for the Audit. That should be complete by the end of February. Then I will be busy getting ready for our yearly Board of Directors meeting and when that is complete I will have tax season to deal with. I am hoping to have everything done by the end of March. I was thinking of going to visit mom and Brenda for a week in February because Derek is headed to Ohio for a week of training, but, I just won't have the time to go in February. Sorry mom. Derek has been away quite a bit lately. Usually two or three days a week, so I have been taking advantage of the time an staying with Monica when he is away. Quess what Monica? You get me tonight and possibly tomorrow night too. Lucky you. I have to go and look at the Air Canada website to see how much it is going to cost to fly to BC in June. Hope you all have a great week.
