And it all began with the soup diet.

The next week is going to be a busy one for me. I have to begin packing for our vacation on BC. I took out all my summer outfits that I bought to go away with last October and discovered that most of them no longer fit. I had gained a lot of weight last winter when I was taking pain medication for my back, so I decided to join LA Weight Loss Centre and have been doing great. It all started with the soup diet. I did really well and lasted 6 days and lost 7 lbs on the soup diet. I think that was the beginning of my weight loss. I have since lost a bunch more weight and hope to lose a lot more. Believe me, I still have lots to lose. My first goal was to keep off the 7 lbs that I lost on the soup diet and I did. My second goal was to lose 15 lbs before going to BC on June 24th, and I have definitely surpasses that. Now my next goal is to not gain any weight while I am on vacation for two weeks. I am all psyched and ready to take on the challenge. Then my next goal is to lose another 15 lbs before Henry and April's wedding. Once I have done that, my goal will be to lose the last 10 - 15 lbs to bring me back to what I should weight. It is still a long road ahead but my weight loss councellor says I should be down to my goal weight by my anniversary October 24th. I hope so because Derek and I are thinking of going on a cruise or maybe another all inclusive in Mexico. We will just take it one day at a time and see what happens.
So, am I the only one that is still doing the diet thing or is there anyone else out there that is trying to fight the battle of the bulge. Let me know how you are all doing. Maybe I will get Derek to take a pic so I can post a before and an after to show everyone how I am doing.
